What SALTY Strides Is

How SALTY Strides combines a destination race weekend with a full SALTY retreat week.

SALTY Strides takes the SALTY retreat you already know, coached workouts, a built-in community, excursions, and hosts who actually hang out with the group, and wraps it around a destination race weekend. Race Weekends Should Be Fun is the whole idea behind it.

How it works

You pick a distance, anywhere from a short fun run up to a full marathon, or you skip the race altogether and join as a supporter. Either way, a SALTY Strides trip has two halves. The first half sits right next to the start line, so race morning has zero logistics stress: wake up, walk to the corral. The second half is recovery week, when the group shifts into the kind of movement and adventure that any SALTY retreat runs on, with plenty to celebrate.

Your race spot is locked in

Every SALTY Strides trip includes a bib in your chosen distance, built right into your booking. There is no lottery and no waiting to see if a spot opens up. Book your trip, pick your distance, and your entry is locked in alongside your room.

Training support

Guests who register for a distance get a personalized training plan built around their race date and current fitness, so the buildup fits into real life instead of taking it over. You can follow it on your own schedule between now and the start line.

Recovery week

Once the race is done, the trip shifts gears. Depending on the destination, the group might stay put in the host city or move somewhere else entirely for the back half of the week, whether that is a beach or a lake town. Either way, the days that follow the race are built for the same things every SALTY retreat runs on: movement, adventure, good food, and a group that already feels like your people.

Who Strides suits

SALTY Strides suits anyone with a race on their list who wants to chase it somewhere beautiful, plus their non-running plus-ones who want the trip without the training. It also suits runners travelling solo who want to land in an instant crew, and anyone who thinks a finish line calls for a proper celebration afterward.

Everything is optional except fun

You do not have to run to come on a SALTY Strides trip. Supporters get the full SALTY week, coached workouts and excursions included, plus the best seat on the course and the loudest voice at the finish line.
