The short version
Pack for versatility. You'll train hard some days and do nothing at all on others, so bring clothes that flex both ways, plus a few essentials you'll use every day.
The essentials for everyone
Workout gear: 4 to 6 tops and 3 to 4 shorts or leggings, quick-dry fabrics work best
Swimsuits: 2 to 4, plus a cover-up for the pool or beach
Casual clothes for downtime: breathable tees, tanks, shorts, or easy pants
A light layer for evenings or air conditioning
Footwear: sneakers for training, sandals or slides for the pool and beach
Daypack, hat, sunglasses, and reef-safe sunscreen
A reusable water bottle and any basic meds you use
A travel adapter and phone charger
What we provide
We provide all the workout equipment you'll need, including yoga mats and surf gear on trips that include surf. If you love your own gear, like bands or a personal yoga mat, bring it, but it's never required.
Per-trip add-ons
A few destinations call for a little extra. Barbados guests should pack running kit if they're racing. Sri Lanka's hill-country leg runs cooler than the coast, so pack a couple of warmer layers for the highlands. Morocco evenings cool down fast, so bring a layer for after sunset.
Laundry
Most retreat centres offer laundry for a small fee, so you can pack lighter and refresh mid-week instead of overstuffing your suitcase.
Pro tip
Pack for comfort and movement over anything else. Nobody notices a repeated outfit, but everybody notices someone who's uncomfortable in what they packed. Full, retreat-specific packing lists go out before every trip.
