The short version
A SALTY retreat is a week of daily movement and real food with new people, built around one idea: wellness works better when it's fun. You train, you eat well, you meet people you actually like, and you go home lighter than you arrived.
Where the idea came from
SALTY was founded by Erin Harris and Nate Behar. Their whole approach comes down to two lines: "Make fun of wellness." and "The fun is the wellness." Every retreat gets built around those two ideas, not around rules about what wellness is supposed to look like.
How the week feels
Schedules are thoughtful, not rigid. You'll train enough to feel fresh and sore at the same time, and explore places that spark your curiosity. You'll laugh harder than expected with people who started the week as strangers. Food is fresh and local. Options stay on the table the whole week, because you're on vacation, not in boot camp.
Structure that creates freedom
We plan the logistics, the movement, the meals, and the daily flow so you can stop planning and start living the week. Want to hit every workout on the schedule? Great. Want to skip a session for a hammock nap instead? Also great. A SALTY retreat is built around choice, and choosing what feels good for you that day.
What you come home with
You'll go home with stronger legs, a lighter mind, a full camera roll, and stories your coworkers will ask about. Most of all, you'll come home with a crew. Community isn't an add-on at SALTY, it's the point of the trip.
See it for yourself
Every SALTY retreat runs this way, with its own destination, pace, length, and energy layered on top. Browse the current lineup at https://www.getsaltyretreats.com/retreats, or take the quiz at https://www.getsaltyretreats.com/quiz to find your trip.
