Travelling Solo on a SALTY Retreat

How solo travelers connect before and during a SALTY retreat

The short version

Yes, and most people do. Most guests travel solo, usually 55 to 70% depending on the trip, so arriving without a plus-one is the default, not the exception.

How we help you connect before you land

About a month before departure, we create a private WhatsApp group for your retreat. Guests introduce themselves and share flight times, so airport meetups come together before anyone boards. By the time you land, you'll already have names and faces to look for.

Day one is built for it

Shared meals and a first workout mean you're moving and laughing with a crew within the first day, even if you didn't know a single person when you landed.

Rooming as a solo traveler

Room options run from a bed in a shared room to your own private room, depending on the trip. If you book a shared room without a roommate, we match you with a guest of the same gender, and by age and vibe where we can. Room types and current tiers live on your retreat page: https://www.getsaltyretreats.com/retreats.

Is it safe?

Every retreat runs in a vetted location with a trusted local team, and you're with SALTY coaches and the full group all week. Airport transfers are arranged on official arrival and departure days, so you're not navigating an unfamiliar place alone. If you have specific safety questions before you book, message us directly and we'll give you real answers.
