Food and Dietary Needs on a SALTY Retreat

How food and dietary needs work on a SALTY retreat

The short version

Expect fresh, chef-made food on every SALTY retreat, with most meals included and a couple sometimes left open so you can explore local restaurants on your own.

What eating on retreat looks like

Meals are colorful and fresh, built around each destination's local ingredients, usually shared family-style with the group. Most meals are included in your retreat price, and the exact count differs by trip. Check your retreat page for the specific meal breakdown: https://www.getsaltyretreats.com/retreats.

Food is part of the experience

Meals aren't an afterthought. Rotating chefs, beachside dinners, family-style tables, and open nights in town are built into the schedule, because good food is part of what makes a SALTY retreat feel like a week away, not a diet plan.

Dietary needs

We regularly accommodate vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, and other common dietary needs. Email us at [email protected] with your needs as soon as you book, so we can plan with the kitchen ahead of time. We'll confirm details with you again closer to departure.

Alcohol and hosted nights

Every retreat includes two hosted cocktail nights where drinks are covered. Beyond that, alcohol is on you, and mocktails are always available if you'd rather skip it. Nobody's tracking what's in your glass.

Bottom line

You'll eat well on a SALTY retreat, dietary needs and all. Tell us early, and we'll make sure the kitchen is ready before you land.
