The short version
Booking a SALTY retreat runs in two steps: pay a $350 deposit on our website to hold your spot, then Movement Travel contacts you to arrange the remaining balance and your payment plan.
Step 1: the deposit
A $350 deposit secures your spot on any SALTY retreat, and it's credited toward your total retreat cost. This is the only price we quote outside your retreat page, since it's the same on every trip.
Step 2: Movement Travel takes it from here
After you book, Lisa from Movement Travel (TICO Reg. #1549342), our Ontario-licensed travel partner, reaches out to confirm your room and collect the remaining balance. Movement Travel handles your accommodations booking and payment schedule from there.
Payment plans
You can pay the remaining balance in full, split it into two payments with no extra fee, or split it into three payments for a $50 admin fee. Movement Travel sets up whichever plan works for you after your deposit.
When the balance is due
Your final balance date is on your retreat page and in your booking email. It varies by trip, so check your specific retreat page rather than assuming a general rule.
If a retreat sells out or moves to a waitlist
Some trips move to a waitlist instead of a direct deposit checkout. If that's the case on the page you're looking at, you'll see a waitlist option instead of the deposit button, and we'll reach out the moment a spot opens.
